I'm learning Web Development because:
- I want to increase my earning potential
- I want a career that allows for creativity
- I want a career that offers flexibility to work remotely when needed
- This career path is congruent with life-long learning which will help keep me interested long-term
Facebook isn't just for socializing, it's also great for networking
HTML 5 has really improved the HTML experience
Javascript is a scripting language that will be important to understand
Angular is a platform for building web applications
Node JS is an open source server environment
React is an open source JavaScript library
GraphQL is used to load data to a client from a server
Vue is a framework for building user interfaces
I am most excited to learn:

I am a complete novice, and so all of these technologies and languages are a whole new experience for me. I am really looking forward to learning and gaining a better understanding of Web Dev to help me prepare for a new career path. Some reasons for me to learn include:
- To become competent in the field
- To become a better designer
- To prepare for my future
- To build some cool websites
